Climate and Dress Code
Barcelona is located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea with a warm, welcoming climate and pleasant temperatures all year round.
The average temperature in June is around 22 degrees Celsius. The dress code will be informal throughout the Congress..

CME Credits
An application will be made to the UEMSEACCME ® for CME accreditation of this Meeting. Please visit the Congress website for more information. Information and instructions on how to receive your CME credits will be included in the Final Programme and will be online closer to the event.

Currency
The local currency is the Euro (EUR).

EAACI Membership
EAACI gives its members priority status at EAACI Congresses, Focused Meetings and all other EAACI events and activities.
Members receive a discount of 25% on the registration fee. Junior members are entitled to register for the Congress for an even lower fee.
EAACI offers free Junior membership to individuals up to 35 years of age (with online access to the journals Allergy and Pediatric Allergy and
Immunology). In addition, EAACI also offers a 50% reduction of membership fees to members from countries with a GNP of less than USD 10,000 per capita, with all membership benefits.

As an EAACI member you will be kept informed of the latest research and developments through our official journals Allergy, Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, and Clinical Translational Allergy (electronic version). These journals contain editorials, reviews, original articles, educational series and EAACI Position Papers. A wealth of resources, such as webcasts and slide kits hand outs, is also available in the Members Area of the website.

The official language of the Congress is English.

Local Time
The time zone in Barcelona is Central European Time (CET).

Transportation
Barcelona International airport, Aeroport del Prat, is located 13 km south-west of Barcelona and 20 km from the CCIB.

By car:
The C-31 motorway connects the airport with Barcelona. The most direct way to reach the CCIB is by the Ronda Litoral, exit 24. It takes
about 30 minutes depending on the traffic. If you are going to the CCIB from the city centre by car, the best option is to take the Avenida
Diagonal all the way to the end.

By Train (RENFE):
There is a train service between the airport and the city centre, Paseo de Gracia, between 6:00 – 23:00. The train runs every 30 minutes
and the travel time is approximately 25 minutes. From the train station Paseo de Gracia, you should connect to the yellow line (line 4) of the metro.  The closest station to the CCIB is Maresme-Forum. For further information visit: http://www.renfe.es.

Express bus (Aerobús):
There is an airport bus service between the airport and the city centre, Plaza Cataluña.
The bus runs every 6 – 15 minutes and the travel time is 30 minutes. Next to Plaza Cataluña, you can take the metro,
Yellow Line (line 4) at the Urquinaona station. The closest station to the CCIB is Maresme-Forum.

Taxi:
The journey to the CCIB from the airport takes about 30 minutes depending on the traffic.
Fees change according to the time of the day.There is an additional cost for entry/exit from the airport and for carrying luggage.

Public Transport within Barcelona to CCIB:
You can reach the CCIB by metro (Maresme- Forum station on the Yellow Line), bus (lines 7, 36, 41, 43 and 141)and tram (Trambesòs Forum station).  All these stops are located just a few minutes’ walk away from the CCIB.

Visa
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Spain.
